Magyarországon kevésbé ismertek a származási előírások mögött meghúzódó kereskedelem- és gazdaságpolitikai érdekek, mint például az Európai Unió tagországaiban vagy az Egyesült Államokban. Talán ez az oka, hogy a hazai közgazdasági szakirodalom kevés figyelmet fordít erre a témára és nem követi figyelemmel a nemzetközi szinten ezen a területen évek óta folyó tárgyalásokat, a témával foglalkozó külföldi szakirodalmat. A cikkben ismertetett származási kumuláció az európai szabad kereskedelmi megállapodások részét képező származási szabályok egyik lényeges eleme, amelynek célja a szabad kereskedelmi partnerek közötti hatékonyabb együttműködés és a megállapodásban biztosított kedvezmények optimális kihasználása azáltal, hogy lehetővé teszi a különböző származású termékek összevonását, beszámítását a származó státus elnyerése érdekében. A cikk megírásának aktualitását az adja, hogy jelenleg folynak a tárgyalások a páneurópai kumulációs térség országai és a mediterrán országok között egy közös kumulációs térség kialakításáról.*

The forms of cumulation of origin applied in the European free trade agreements and the economic significance of cumulation regulations
Synopsis: 

The interests of trade- and economic policies behind the specifications of origin are less known in Hungary than for example in the European Union or in the United States. This fact might be the reason why the Hungarian economic literature pays so little attention to this subject and does not follow neither the negotiations on international level which have started several years ago, nor the international literature about this topic. The cumulation of origin, described in this article, is a key element of the regulations of origin and a vital part of the free trade agreements. Its aim is a more effective co-operation of the free trade partners and the optimal use of the advantages ensured in the agreements by enabling the concentration and inclusion of products of different origin in order to achieve the status of origin. The up-to-dateness of the article is underlined by the current negotiations of the countries of the Pan-European cumulation region and the Mediterranean countries with the aim of forming a common region of cumulation.
