2017. április 4-én az Országgyűlés elfogadta az új nemzetközi magánjogi törvényt, amely 2018. január 1-jétől felváltja a jelenleg hatályos nemzetközi magánjogi törvényerejű rendeletet. A tanulmány a következő témákra fókuszál: a régi nemzetközi magánjogi törvényerejű rendelet felülvizsgálatának okai, új elméleti koncepciók megjelenése a 21. századi magyar nemzetközi magánjogban, az új nemzetközi magánjogi törvény megalkotásának közel kétéves folyamata, a törvény szerkezete és a fontosabb változások az általános kollíziós jogintézményekben a régi kódexhez képest.

The renewal of Hungarian PIL – some observation in connection with redrafting of the Hungarian PIL Law Act, especially regarding of its General Part
Synopsis: 

On the 4th of April 2017, the Hungarian Parliament adopted the new Hungarian Private International Law Act which will enter into force on the 1st of January 2018. The present study focuses on the following topics: the reasons for the revision of the previous legislative decree on Hungarian private international law, the appearance of new theoretical conceptions in the Hungarian private international law of the XXI. Century, the almost two-year procedure of the creation of the new Hungarian Private International Law Act, the structure of the Act and the major changes compared to the previous codex.
